Jazzy Accordion Music

This was my second YouTube video and perhaps you can tell because I went a little overboard with the scooter background, haha! It also took me a while to shake off the nerves. Which is funny because this is one of my favorite songs to play!

The song is “In a Little Spanish Town” by Mabel Wayne. It’s easygoing, with some chunky chords and a fun improvisational second half. It’s especially good with the bassoon and mute registers engaged. Those give the song a deep, rich sound.

I wish I had learned more stuff like this growing up and has fueled my interest in learning more Jazz music going forward.
